Reassurance4U was a Godsend to me and my family in assisting us with the care of my father. My father had several medical appointments each month, and we wanted someone to attend with him who could tell us exactly what the doctors said during the discussion. However, my siblings and I could not always make it because of our work schedules.

Reassurance4U not only picked my father up and took him to his appointment, but they also sat in on the appointment, took meticulous notes, and provided us with a written summary.

We also referred Reassurance4U to assist a family friend who is disabled with a hearing and speech impediment. His mother, who is in her 90s, usually accompanied him to appointments, but she needed help. Reassurance4U stepped in, attended the appointments, and provided them with a detailed summary of what was discussed during the appointment. They were pleased to have this service.

This is the best service at a very reasonable price. We would have lost more money taking leave or canceling work appointments if we had attended. Reassurance4U cares for your loved one. I highly recommend Geraldine, the owner of the company. You won't be disappointed.

Because I have a disability, I recently needed an escort to accompany me on a much-dreaded visit to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for an ID card. Geraldine Medley-Furbush of Reassurance4U was truly a Godsend. She helped me to plan our trip several days beforehand and then arrived at my home precisely on time in a clean and comfortable car. She patiently stayed with me as I slowly walked with rest intervals around the DMV, attentively supported my successful efforts to navigate DMV procedures and returned me safely home. Without a moment’s exception, I found Geraldine’s demeanor to be a comforting blend of professionalism, patience, flexibility, warmth, and compassion. My mum needed someone to accompany her to her doctor’s appointments and I would have had to take a couple of hours off work every day for about 3 weeks to take her.  So when I told my manager about my situation, she told me about Geraldine’s service (Reassurance4U).  My manager had used Geraldine’s service before and she was pleased with the service she got.  I called Geraldine and she was able to provide me with the service that I needed. She went with my mum to her doctor’s apt for 2 weeks.  She was very punctual in picking her up.  I found Geraldine to be very professional.  She was very flexible in working with us when we needed to change plans.  Geraldine has a pleasant personality and my mum enjoyed her company and felt comfortable being in her care.  It was a pleasure working with her.  I would recommend her any day.

I am a high-functioning adult who also deals with spells of depression that leave me unmotivated/unable to focus on the paperwork of everyday life -- and socially isolated. Geraldine is that perfect person who provides a positive presence in my house so that I can get through the tasks I've been procrastinating on and dreading.  I get so busy that we don't talk much, but Geraldine is a happy touchstone I check in with when I'm losing steam -- then back I go to resume my work and feel even more productive. Geraldine is attuned to -- and responsive to -- what I ask for, which is "just being there" for me. You may not know this, because it isn't in her literature, but Geraldine also is a talented soloist.  At our first meeting I asked her to sing a favorite old hymn.  She chased the blues right out of my house, and now singing is  part of our routine. We always end, literally, on a high note.

I had to have a colonoscopy done recently. I wanted to have someone who could go the whole mile and chauffeur me both ways and even be of some assistance to me at the hospital.  After two days of very little sleep and no food I could use an extra pair of hands and a little TLC. So along came Geraldine Furbush who is the kindest, most efficient caregiver I could imagine. I decided to get down to my lobby a few minutes early and she was just pulling up. I was thrilled.  I'm very punctual and I love it when others are punctual. She drives so carefully and well that it's easy to forget that one is in a car. I just put myself in her capable hands and felt so comfortable with her while we negotiated the process of checking in. I was feeling a little shaky so I signed where I had to and allowed her to print my name, date and so on whenever necessary. We had a pleasant conversation while I was waiting, making my time in the hospital go quickly and enjoyably. I have no worries now when I contemplate having a procedure done at the hospital. I will just call on Geraldine Furbush and enjoy her outstanding service.

Thank you Reassurance4U and Geraldine for your services to my Dad. Although a cliché, I really don’t know what I would do without your professional services. Your ability to get Dad in and out of the wheelchair into the car and to his doctor’s offices are done with ease and skill.  Your patience of waiting during his appointments and your thoroughness in reporting are so valuable.  I love that you have the experience of comforting my 95 year old Dad who does not warm up to people easily.  He was a cab driver for over 40 years, so for him to compliment the driving to locations in DC, Maryland and Virginia speaks volumes to your abilities.  As the sole caregiver for Dad, your company has given me the relief I so desperately needed.  It is a pleasure doing business with your competent, ever willing and ready, professional company.  Thank you again and again.
